Yes. Mojawhara works with natural gemstones, selected in relation to the composition rather than fitted to a finished design. Calligraphy, proportion, colour and material are considered together, and selected rough gemstones may be specially cut to sit naturally within the lines of the composition.

Yes. Every Mojawhara creation is examined and documented before dispatch and arrives with its certificate of authenticity and Mojawhara Passport.

Its natural gemstones and diamonds are independently verified or supported by appropriate laboratory and supplier documentation. Individual laboratory reports are provided where applicable, and the documentation accompanying each creation states precisely what has been assessed.

Eighteen-carat gold contains 75% pure gold, alloyed with other metals to provide greater strength and durability. It is widely used in international fine and high jewellery because it balances precious-metal content with the structural performance required for intricate forms and secure stone setting.

For Mojawhara, this strength is especially important. Arabic calligraphy depends on fine connections, precise letterforms and carefully controlled proportions. Eighteen-carat gold allows these details to be preserved while helping the creation withstand a lifetime of wear and, with proper care, pass from one generation to another.

A price appears where one has been set, and many creations carry none. A Mojawhara creation is an authored artwork rather than a listed article, and availability is the statement this site makes. Nothing is sold on this site: a creation is acquired through correspondence with the maison.

Write to the maison from the contact page, or from any creation, and the correspondence begins there. For a commission of your own word, begin with the Seven Moments.

The creation itself, its certificate of authenticity, its Mojawhara Passport, the laboratory and supplier documentation for its gemstones and diamonds, and the story of the composition it was drawn from.

Most Mojawhara commissions are completed within 10–14 days after the design and quotation have been approved and the required initial payment has been received.

Particularly intricate creations, exceptional stone sourcing, or specialist techniques may require additional time. Where this applies, the expected completion date will be confirmed before production begins, and the maison will keep the client informed throughout the process.

This period describes production. Shipping and customs clearance may require additional time, and an international delivery date is confirmed separately.

A minimum initial payment of 50% is required to confirm a commissioned creation and begin production. The remaining balance must be paid in full before the creation is released or delivered.

For certain significant commissions, an individual payment schedule may be considered and agreed in writing before production begins.

Prices and accepted currencies will be stated in the client’s quotation or invoice. If payment in another currency is requested, the applicable conversion will be confirmed at the time of payment.

Any bank, card-provider, or currency-conversion charges are the responsibility of the client.

Ready-to-wear creations may be returned or exchanged within 14 days of delivery, provided they are unworn, undamaged, unaltered, and returned with their original packaging, documentation, and Mojawhara Passport materials.

Commissioned, personalised, engraved, resized, and made-to-order creations are produced specifically for the client and cannot ordinarily be returned or exchanged.

If a creation is faulty, damaged upon arrival, or not as described, the client should contact Mojawhara promptly so the matter can be assessed and resolved. This policy does not affect any rights provided under applicable consumer law.

Please contact the maison before returning anything, so that secure return instructions can be provided. A creation should never be sent by an ordinary, uninsured postal service.

Every Mojawhara creation is carefully inspected before delivery and is accompanied by a two-year warranty covering manufacturing defects from the date it is received.

Where a manufacturing defect is confirmed by the maison, Mojawhara will repair or replace the affected component, as appropriate, without charge.

The warranty does not cover ordinary wear or ageing, scratches, accidental damage, loss, theft, improper handling or storage, damage caused by impact, or alterations and repairs undertaken by another jeweller.

Warranty coverage is additional to any rights provided under applicable consumer law.

Mojawhara offers a complimentary initial inspection and professional cleaning for its creations.

If further work is required—such as polishing, refinishing, stone tightening, resizing, repair, or replacement of a component—the creation will first be assessed and a quotation provided for the client’s approval.

Work required because of a confirmed manufacturing defect covered by the warranty will be completed without charge. Shipping, insurance, customs, and duties connected with aftercare may be charged separately depending on the client’s location.

The maison recommends that stone settings, and creations worn often, are inspected from time to time.

Guidance on wearing, cleaning and keeping a creation is on the care page, along with how to ask the maison for aftercare. No universal cleaning method is recommended, because natural gemstones differ in structure and sensitivity and a single instruction could not be stood behind for every creation the maison has made.

Many Mojawhara rings can be resized, although this depends on the design, construction, materials, stone setting, and size adjustment required.

Certain creations—including full-eternity rings, highly detailed bands, and rings with stones set around the entire circumference—may have limited resizing possibilities or may not be resizable.

Mojawhara will assess the creation before confirming whether resizing is possible and will provide the expected cost and completion time. Please confirm the correct ring size before approving a personalised or commissioned creation.

Orders delivered outside the country of dispatch may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, clearance fees, or other local charges.

Unless expressly stated otherwise in the client’s quotation, these charges are not included in the purchase price and are the responsibility of the recipient.

Requirements vary by destination, so please consult your local customs authority before confirming an international order. Mojawhara cannot control customs assessments or customs-related delays but will provide the available shipment documentation.

Mojawhara does not currently provide personal jewellery insurance directly. Clients are encouraged to arrange suitable independent insurance covering loss, theft, accidental damage, and travel as soon as their creation is received.

Upon request, the maison can provide the purchase invoice and available details of the creation to support an application to a specialist insurer.

Every creation is also accompanied by its own Mojawhara Passport. The Passport provides a digital record of the creation’s identity, authenticity, provenance, and registered ownership. It may support the documentation requested by an insurer, but it does not constitute an insurance policy or monetary valuation.

Insurance during delivery, where applicable, will be confirmed separately as part of the order or commission.

Every Mojawhara creation is assigned a unique identity code and accompanied by a digital Passport. By entering or scanning this code on the Mojawhara website, the creation’s identity, authenticity, provenance, and registration status can be verified.

The unique code may be engraved directly onto the creation where its design permits. The accompanying Passport card incorporates NFC technology, allowing the digital record to be accessed using a compatible device.

Selected future creations may also incorporate NFC technology within the creation itself.

If ownership changes, the registered record should be updated through Mojawhara so that the creation’s provenance remains complete and accurate.

The Mojawhara Passport is a record of identity and provenance. It is not an insurance policy, monetary valuation, or substitute for independent insurance.

Each creation carries its own code, and that code can be read on this site. It returns the creation, its composition and its record. The maison keeps the record so it can be passed on with the jewel, and the public record names no owner.
