Craftsmanship

Engineered around the line.

The production method is developed around the calligraphy — thickness, connections, structure and stone settings resolved together.

A drawn line and a wearable jewel answer to different disciplines. The artwork is developed into production-ready form, and the questions that follow are engineering ones: where the metal carries weight, where a connection can be thinned without weakening it, how a setting holds a stone without interrupting the letter it sits within.

Metalwork and setting are carried out through Suearmo, the maison’s operating collaborator, whose specialists work to the drawing rather than to a standard pattern. The calligraphy is the fixed point; the making adapts to it.

It is a rare combination: calligraphic authorship and jewellery production expertise brought to the same object, by people who each answer to the other’s constraints.

The jewellery follows the calligraphy, never the other way around.

Original compositions authored for the person, the story or the sentiment they carry, developed into production-ready artwork.
